~LEE~

I sat on the frosty bench in the park staring at the same spot my girlfriend was linzi my world the dimond in my heart the only one who kept it beating now she was gone coz of one stupid mistake it was here on this exact bench i first asked her out three years ago she helped me through good and bad times was always there for me but wanted nothing in return just my love,heart and soul i loved her i still do but why did i do it sleep with another woman the other night it ate me up inside not telling her so i had to tell her wish i hadn't now why me why was i so stupid "alright mate where's linzi" duncan said sitting down which made me burst into tears "she's gone" i cried "what happened" dunk asked concerned.

an hour ago.

"linzi" i said my voice quivering

"yeah babe" she asked smiling like she always did

"i have something to tell you" i replied looking down

"what" she asked her smile fading ever so slightly

"i..i..i slept with somebody else last friday" i stuttered

"HOW COULD YOU" she shouted tears forming in her eyes

"thanks lee for killing my heart never loved anyone as much as you" she said with her voice shaking

"i love you" i replied

"if you loved me you wouldn't of done it then would you" she said through gritted teeth trying to stop the tears from falling

"i'm sorry please forgive me" i asked

"how do i know you won't do that again" she said back

"i won't"

"lee just stop" she said and she ran off out of the park i tried running after her but was rooted to the spot why me why

~LINZI~

I ran outta the park after what lee had told me tears streaming down my face must of looked a right state but i didn't care all's i knew was i had to get away from that love rat who i thought loved me obviously not how could he? was the constent question going around and around in my head i bumped straight into somebody and fell to the ground

"sorry" a familiar manly voice said i lifted my head

"linzi whats wrong" antony asked

"its lee he cheated on me last friday when i was ill and couldn't go out clubbing" i said my voice shaking from all the crying i had done

"oh no how could he and especially after what he told me yesterday" ant said then flung his hand upto his mouth

"oops" ant said

"what" i asked franticly

"he was going to ask you to marry him" ant said

"fat chance of that now isn't there" i shouted then hugged ant

"antony could you do me a huge favour" i asked

"sure babe" he replied

"tell the others good bye i'm leaving the country for a few weeks maybe months but i'll be back someday" i said and kissed a shocked ant on the cheek then left to back my bags for rome i'd booked tickets a while back as a present to lee i'd always wanted to go and oh sh*t i've told lee i've wanted to go but i've already got the tickets so i'm not gonna change them but who to take i know i picked up my phone and dialled vicky's number

"hey hun whats up" she answered

"fancy a holiday to rome" i asked

"but weren't you and l.. whats happened" she asked

"i'll tell you later just get your bags packed for a few weeks to two months ok" i said

"ok" she replied

"pick you up in an hour or so" i said back and hung up.

~ANT~

I walked to the park i knew lee would be there as it was his and linzi favourite place to be sure enough lee was sat on the exact bench with duncan i broke into a run

"lee what the fuck have you done" i shouted

"i don't know" lee said and burst out crying

"well mate you've well and truly killed linzi's heart as she's leaving the country for a few weeks maybe months" i told them

"did she tell you where she was going" lee stood up suddenly

"no" i replied my phone beeped 1 msg received ~hi ant vicky's coming with me tell lee i love him still but i need to think things through bye luv linzi~ i sighed deeply

"she still loves you mate" i said to lee as i showed him the msg

"we've got to get to vicky's" lee said and ran as fast as his legs could carry him and out into the road into a speeding car duncan and i ran after him

"lee are you ok" i asked

"fine i just need to get to linzi" he said not caring about his pain the car speed off straight away another car was coming along the road i read the number plate as it stopped CYI H8U it was linzi she got out the car

"oh no LEE" she screamed and collapsed at his side

"lee" she said

"babe" he replied she gave him a cold look

"i'm so sorry" he replied

"i know but i need to get away for a while" she replied

"please don't leave me i can't breathe easy without you"

"should of thought of that before" linzi stopped as lee cried some more she couldn't take it seeing him crying so she got in her car said

"lee i'll never stop loving you bye" and drove around lee to vicky's i presumed

"i just wanna die" lee said as he slowly stood up and hobbled up the road following the direction linzi's car went

"lee stop" i cried out

"i'm losing the love of my life i need her back" he replied

"lee she'll come around you know she will let her have some space will ya" duncan said which made lee turn around and walk back to us

"come on lets get you to the hospital dunk car" i said

"its around the corner i'll go get it" duncan left and came back a few minutes later with his car and drove lee to the accident and emergancy department of the hospital.

~VICKY~

I waited for linzi had my bags packed something bad must of happened between her and lee i thought to myself as the doorbell went

"ready" linzi said straight away

"yeah are you gonna tell me what happened" i asked

"i will later on the plane" she replied taking two of the suitcase's sneaky cow i thought to myself it would be to late to turn around and come back by then but its her choice we got in the car and drove to the airport checked in and boarded the plane to rome hope linzi knows what she's doing

"so spill" i said as we sat down

"last friday when i was ill lee cheated on me he told me earlier and i couldn't believe it so i had to leave i had wonderful news to tell him as well" she finished

"which was"

"nothing anymore" she replied and looked out the window as the plane took off.

~DUNCAN~

Me and ant were waiting outside the xray room while lee was having xrays done god what has he done i could of killed him coz of what his done to linzi as she plays hard to get believe me i know maybe she just didn't see me that way but i wouldn't know she told ant everything being her best friend since her the age of two and ant four but i had to know if she's always liked lee coz she went with him straight away

"ant"

"yeah mate" he answered

"has linzi always like lee and did she ever like me" i asked

"always liked you but had a huge thing for lee why" he answered and asked

"no reason just wondered" ant nodded then the xray room door opened

"i've only got three broken ribs" lee said smiling then it faded

"well i've gotta get a bandage put on then i'm going to look for linzi in every country" lee answered

"lee did those xrays do something to your brain" ant answered i shot him a look

"ant its lee we're talking about" i said as i chuckled a bit and ant laughed

"oi" lee said but also laughed.

~LINZI~

The plane had touched down and everyone was un-boarding it me and vicky were waiting for our luggage when my phone beeped ~hey linzi lee's gone crazy he's going to search every country until he finds you see how much he loves you plz come home plz where are you anyway you can tell me after all i am meant to be your best mate and i won't tell lee love ya ant~ i sent him one back ~hi ant i'm in rome if you must know don't tell lee if you do you'll regret it big time love ya linzi~ my phone beeped again ~i know that don't be gone to long love ya bear" i laughed at this

"whats funny" vicky asked

"ant sent me a text i told him where we were and if he told lee he would regret it and he sent back i know that don't be gone long bear" i finished and vicky laughed

"well he hasn't said that for ages"

"i know he only says it after he's promised me something" i replied and lifted my cases up

"can we help you ladies" to very fit lads asked

"no its ok we'll manage" i said vicky shot me a look

"you sure" one of them asked

"no she don't know what she's talking about" vicky answered and handed them her suit cases i rolled my eyes as we made our way over to the taxi quaters

"parlos's hotel please" i said to the cab driver as he pulled up outside a beautiful looking hotel and we got out i gave him a twenty (euro) and went into the hotel loby

"yes may i help you"

"yea i booked to rooms under the name norton" i replied

"room 205 and 206 have a nice stayed" the man said and handed me the keys we got into the lift and went up to our rooms

"well i'm going to the beach" i said as soon as i had put my suitcases in my room

"yea me to" vicky said and we made our way down to the beach.

~LEE~

"Now where do i start" i said to myself as i searched the world atlas on the net where did she always want to go i thought i know rome ahh but she knows i know that so she wouldn't of gone their her sister lives in america maybe she went their i've got her number somewhere i'll give her a ring i looked for her sister mairi's number and rung it

"hello" she answered

"mairi its lee"

"oh hi lee how are ya babes"

"not good linzi left me and i wondered if she came to see you"

"sorry no she didn't why did she leave you" she asked

"i slept with someone else last friday i was so drunk i didn't know what i was doing i felt so guilty so i told linzi earlier today and she yelled how could you at me and ran off ant said she's gone to another country for a while but she didn't say where"

"lee i'm dissapointed in you but at least you told her you could of kept it bottled up inside and she would of found out from someone else but sorry hun i'm afraid she's not here"

"ok thanks mairi bye"

"bye" she hung up now where i thought as i put my head in my hands in dispear.

~LINZI~

Me and vicky were sat against the beach wall in rome away from home and away from lee i couldn't face him for a while i hope his alright though i mean he had just been hit by a car i rang ant

"hi ant is lee ok"

"well apart from three broken ribs yeah and a huge broken heart" i heard him say lee broken heart what about me

"linz you still there"

"yeah what is he doing now"

"well he's going to search the whole world looking for you"

"WHAT he can't do that its only me"

"yeah well your the dimond in his heart" awww no i can't go back i thought

"well i'm not coming back just yet" i answered

"promise you won't tell him"

"i won't i said bear didn't i"

"yeah well i better go now bye ant"

"c ya"

"hey linz is that" vicky asked pointing over to a group of girls playing vollyball

"it is" i jump down from the wall and started to run over to them

"well haven't seen you in a long time" i said laughing they turned their heads to look at me

"linzi,vicky" they screamed and ran to hug us it was my old gang from school ~hannah,laura,tina,niki,lorna,leigh and amy~

"so what you doing here still with lover boy lee" laura said laughing

"not exactly just taking abit of breathing space" i said please don't ask why please don't ask why i said to myself in my head

"oh ok" she answered

"so what are you doing here"

"duh were doing that travelling for six months that we told you about but you wouldn't come cos you wanted to stay with lee and vicky didn't wanna leave with us because..." tina said then searched for an answer

"i didn't wanna leave my best mate" vicky answered

"so when are you coming back to london to go to uni"

"2 months" hannah answered

"how long you staying for" lorna asked i raised my hands

"don't know few weeks months"

"cool so is it really that bad between you and lee" niki asked

"look i don't really wanna talk about it" i answered

"well we've got lots of catching up to do" leigh said

"lets go to that cafe we ain't ate yesterday" amy suggested i nodded and we made our way up to this cafe they were taking us to

Two Hours Later.

After a long chat about what we had been upto in the last four months the subject of lee came up again as i had stopped talking and was staring into space

"linzi" hannah asked grabbing my attention instantly

"yeah hun" i asked

"you thinking about lee" niki suddenly piped up i nodded then burst into tears which resulted in all my mates giving me a comforting hug

"tell us what happened please so we can understand more" leigh asked i told them what had happend and they listened to all of what i had to say i waited for what they were going to say

"the little scumbag" tina answered first trust her to say something like that

"do you still love him" amy asked i cried somemore as i nodded my head

"i know your gonna hate me saying this but you really should go back instead of running away from the problem" laura said she was right though

"i think you should go back to him before you lose him for good" lorna said

"i think i should to but he hurt me so much" i replied vicky looked down at the floor

"but he was gonna ask you to marry him so he won't give up" she suddenly said

"WHAT" was the answer from the others

"go back to him linzi please" hannah said

"i'm staying here for a bit after all whats the use in wasting a ticket" i replied with a smile.

FEW HOURS LATER

"I'm tired so i'm going to bed" i said to vicky

"what your never tired is something wrong" she questioned

"no i am tired thats all" i said and went into my room and led on the bed and thought i had to tell lee something 'VERY' important earlier this morning but i couldn't after what he had confessed to sleeping with another woman my phone ringing broke my trail of thought

"hello" i answered

"alright sis" mairi i thought "

hi mairi hun how are you i've missed you so much when you moving back to england" i said in one breathe she sighed deeply

"yeah soon i've missed you to"

"and duncan" i interupted then her and i both laughed

"yeah whats this between you and lee" she asked

"how do you know"

"lee rung me told me everything"

"oh" was all i said

"he really misses you hun please go back to him" she said

"i am but i'm staying here for a week need to clear my head and figure out how to tell lee i'm..." I paused

"your what linz" mairi asked

"i think i might be p...p...pregnant" i finally said

"thats great babes" mairi replied which made me smile

"i know but its complicated now if you know what i mean" i answered

"i know well i better go now bye"

"mairi" i said

"yeah"

"don't you dare tell lee ok"

"i wont marzi ok"

"bye" i said and hung up i knew i could trust her after she said 'marzi' you see me,ant and mairi were close and when younger we used to say bear,marzi and linx when we made a promise to each other bear was antony as he loved bears and now he could probably be a bear considering his hairyness marzi was because i couldn't say mairi's name when i was younger and linx not really sure why though and its a thing thats just stuck ever since i laughed as i thought about this when my phone rang again privet number

"hello" i said unsure of who was on the other end

"hi linzi" i heard lee's voice i sighed with relief

"hey lee" i replied

"are you ok" he asked

"sure" i said going quiet

"where are you when you coming home"

"not telling you and i'll be home sometime next week some old mates set me straight gotta go now lee bye hun"

"wait" he said

"what"

"i love you you do know that"

"yeah i do i love you to and i can't wait to tell you some exciting news when i get back" i said and hung up before he could say anything else i switched my phone off and climbed into the bed where i fell asleep quickly.

The day i say goodbye to rome and go back home

~LINZI~
It was the day i was going home i missed lee so much even after what he had done. Me and vicky were meeting the others to say goodbye and then we were leaving "bye girls we'll miss you" "we'll miss you 2 see you in a few months bye" they said as we boarded the plane.

A few hours laters
We were in a taxi on our way back to my house it was a nice break and really helped me decide on my feelings lee was mine i was his and he was going to be a daddy to a little girl/boy i couldn't wait to tell him the taxi dropped us off outside vicky's house where i had left my car "cya later vicky" i said and drove off to my house where lee was waiting on my doorstep he lept up when he saw my car well with a number plate like CYI H8U who could forget it i parked turned the engine off and opened the car door within seconds lee had his arms around me and was holding me tightly "i missed you" he said and kissed the top of my head "lee let me go" i said he let me go instantly "whats wrong" he asked his smile turning into a frown "nothing its freezing and i just wanna get my bags in my house and get warm" i said and opened the car boot and took out my stuff lee came upto me and took my luggage "you go open the door" he said as i slamed the boot shut i walked up to the door and opened it going inside and waiting for lee he came into the lounge and sat beside me on the sofa he wrapped his arms around me but i pulled away "you hate me don't you" he asked "no i don't hate you i love you but there really is something i need to tell you" lee said nothing just stared at me blankley "i'm going" "not again" he said in desperation which made me laugh "what" he asked confused "will you let me finish" i said "sorry" he apologized "i'm going to have your baby" i said then looked down at the floor i caught a glimpse of his smile spreading across his face i waited for him to say something "thats the most wonderful news i've ever heard" he said "can i ask you something" lee asked and took me by the hand lee stood up and so did i "be back in a minute" lee said and walked out of the living room living me standing there in anticapation he came back his hand behind his back then he produced a blue velvet box "will you marry me" he said while opening the box "i will" i replied lee slid the ring on my finger before sweeping me up into a hug.

~LEE~
I'm the happiest man alive right now i've got my girl who's expecting my baby what could possibly go wrong now i thought to myself as i held linzi in my arms that night i stared out of the window the curtains were open so i could see the stars shining brightly in the sky one in particular beamed brighter i sighed and a smile broke out across my face i was thinking about the star and how beautiful it looked linzi stirred in my arms "ain't you a sleep yet" she said opening her eyes and looking up at me "nope to excited to sleep" i said linzi sat up and rested her head on my shoulder "ryan's star" she said "what" i asked "the brightest one ryan's star our family star" she spoke so nicely "yeah" i agreed i slid down the bed to get more comftable as did linzi i put my arm around her and placed my hand on her stomach and fell sound asleep.

The next day

~LINZI~
I woke up in lee's arms he was still asleep i carefully got out of his grip and stood up beside the bed "where do you think your going" lee said pulling me back down onto the bed "lee c'mon its 10 we need to tell people our wonderful news" i said giving him a kiss "stay in bed for a little longer please" lee said and pulled puppy dog eyes "oh lee you know i can't resist you normally but this time i am" i said going to get back up again lee took my wrist pulled me back down and climbed on top of me "lee" i giggled he kissed me passionetly and tender i pushed him away after a while and managed to get up from the bed "LEE RYAN GET OUTTA THAT BED NOW" i shouted which must of shocked him "ok ok i'm up i'm up" he said and sprang out of bed he went out the room to the bathroom i got dressed and went down stairs lee soon joined me his hair looking perfect "so where do we start" he said looking at the phone "mairi" i replied my older sister should be the first to know after all she's the only family i've got left. I picked up the phone and dialled mairi's number "hey" she answered cheerfully "hi sis when you coming down again" "in two weeks why" "coz me and lee are getting married how long you staying for" "forever" "what" "i'm coming to live back in england btw would u mind if i stayed with you while i find somewhere to live over there" "stay as long as u need to" i replied "great see ya then bye" "bye" i hung up "so i guess she's staying here" lee said "no really" i said sacasticly he pulled me down onto his lap and switched the tv on "lee i have to call more people" i said "no you don't while you were on the phone to your sister i called everyone and we are going to a club tonight to celebrate" "lee your so unpredictable you know that" "yep" he replied and i kissed him on the cheek which got lee going into fall on snog mode.

"Lee get off" i said pushing him away "what" he asked innocently "i've gotta meet antony in town" i replied "sure he won't mind if your a little late" i narrowed my eyes at him "ok" lee sighed i kissed him "later" i replied and went out the door and got into my car i drove to town and met ant in the local cafe "so whats the news" he asked as i sat down "well me and lee are back together getting married infact and i'm pregnant" ant almost choked "pregnant" he spluttered "thats what i said" i replied sarcasticly "thats great" he said getting up and hugging me "so whats the news in your life" i asked 'i got together with emma" he replied hesitating i hadn't really seen eye to eye with emma "are you ok with that" he asked "of course i am there's nothing wrong with emma" i replied "good" ant said i could see the tension from telling me flush from his face i chuckled as i took a sip of my hot chocolate "can tell i'm back in bloody england" i said shivering ant laughed "well better be going can't leave lee alone for to long" ant looked at me weirdly "what" "you left him for a whole week" "yeah but he wasn't left alone in my house well our house now" i said ant smiled and nodded his head "true" he said "take care" i said hugging and giving him a kiss on the cheek "oh hi emma" i said going out the door as she was coming in "hey linz btw is everything cool between us now" she asked "as cool as ice" i replied and left to go home to lee.
