I was walking along the pavement on my way back from the shops when i saw my best mate "LEE" i shouted running across the road without looking "LINZI NO" I heard Lee shout out to me as i felt a shooting pain in my side i felt like i'd flipped through the air and hit the ground after that everything went black my life i saw it flash before me from the first moment i met Lee to the last thing i saw...

I had just witnessed the most horrifying thing ever my best mate had just been hit by a car i ran to where she led the that had hit her sped off i put my ear to her mouth i couldn't hear her breathing i pulled her out of the road onto the pavement. I got out my mobile and called an ambulance "come on Linz wake up please" i said rocking her "the ambulance will be here soon don't go" the ambulance came and the paramedics led her on a strecher and put her in the ambulance i climbed in the back and held her hand "is she going to be alright" i asked my voice all shakey "hopefully" the paramedic said flashing a sypathetic smile. We got to the hospital she was taken somewhere and i was told to wait in the waiting room as i did the image of her flipping over the car and hitting the ground played over and over in my mind "please be ok" i whispered trying to stop tears from falling Linzi's mum came in shortly after "what happened Lee?" she asked i told her what happedned and as i finished a doctor walked in the expression on his face didn't look good "i'm sorry theres nothing more we can do she's gone" he said it didn't seem real "can we say goodbye to her" Linzi's mum asked he nodded and led us to her "you go first Lee" her mum said i walked into the room and saw her lying there peacefully like she was sleeping i took hold of her right hand as i sat down on a chair beside the bed "i can't believe our friendshiphas come to an end i thought we'd be friends forever or at least alot longer than this it doesn't seem real like a nightmare and any minute i'll wake up and i'll see your smiling face and you'll be saying "your mum sent me up to see if i could get you up lazy bones" and then you'd laugh and i'd get up and you'd just hug me as your way of saying hello but thats not true because this is reality and your really gone i'm not going to see your perfect smile or hear your angelic laugh i'll miss more then you could imagine" i said kissing her hand and leaving i went outside the room as Linzi's mum went in i leant against the wall and took a deep breath trying to get rid of the lump that had formed in my throat i left the hospital and went where me and Linzi used to sneak off to talk when we were supposed to be grounded i climbed up the tree and sat in the tree house we had built together it didn't seem right it was too peaceful "i miss you" i whispered as a strong but gentle wind swept through the trees.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

It had been a few weeks since Linzi's death and i was going to her grave i had to talk to her she won't be able to answer i know but it'll still make me feel better ...

There's Lee i wonder if he'll ignore me like he has been the last few weeks i have no idea what i might have done to upset him my mum and all my other friends have been ignoring me as well "hey Lee" i said walking up to him he ignored me i felt more then upset i had to find out whats wrong maybe he's got a new best friend i decided to follow him i had to find out why he was doing this to me. He took a deep breath as he stopped outside the graveyard whats he doing here i thought he walked through the rusty iron gates and went over to where the children and young teens are buried he started crying "why did you leave me i need you i was going to tell you that i was in well still am in love with you Linzi" i stood infront of him "what are you on about Lee i'm right here look" i waved my hand infront of his eyes "Lee listen to me hello Lee i love you to" he was staring straight at me yet he ignored me and continued crying i hadn't a clue i turned around and looked at the gravestone behind me ~~~In Loving Memory of Linzi-Louise Norton Loving Daughter To Mother Elizabeth Loving Sister to Adam,David and Christopher And Loving Best Friend To Lee Will Be Dearly Missed By All 1989-2004~~~ i put my hand to my mouth i can't believe it i'm dead "i don't know what i'm supposed to do anymore without you without your advice i wanna be with you up there (he looked up)" he said it hurt to see him cry i reached out and put my hand on his shoulder he looked to where i placed my hand "Linzi" he asked "yes" i answered "i've missed you so much" "you can see me" i asked "yes i can don't go away" "i'm sorry Lee but its just gods way i'm sorry but i can't stay" "then take me with you please" "i can't" "please" Lee said sobbing i couldn't take it seeing him like this a light flashed brightly "thank you" Lee said hugging me i hugged him back tightly "i love you" he added "love you to so are you ready to spend the rest of our dead lives together" i asked as we headed towards the large pearly white gates "more then ready" Lee said we stopped outside and looked up before entering the gates to heaven where we would be together forever another bright light flashed and we were on our cloud  we looked down to see Lee's body being taken away i looked at Lee he looked back at me and we sealed our deaths with a kiss...
